This project is a perfect example of Automotive CGI combined with Location Photography.
Working with Willie von Recklinghausen, we were provided with garaged vehicle data by Mercedes to bring to life the print campaign. Willie captured location backgrounds and HDR environments on location in LA. Here in the studio we then positioned the CGI vehicle and used our unique CGI workflow to render individual layers of the vehicle providing car paint, chrome, glass, plastics, rubber, reflection and refraction. These layers were then assembled by our skilled retouchers to deliver the final images.
