The ability to create the impossible is one of the most exciting aspects of CGI. Traditional model-making and photography would have been extremely difficult for a job like the Dupont Glass brief. We were able to take the stock photography and then replicate each environment in CGI. This allowed us to create the glass objects within the environments integrating the CG assets into the scene making it look seamless and photo-real. The glass we built genuinely reflects and refracts its surroundings and works as a real glass would in the same lighting conditions, enhancing the believability of the images.
