Brief and Reference

The agency came to us to create 6 stunning full CG visuals. Their concept was to have witty text which is formed from water slides. We developed the creative from the initial concept, working up various design iterations to develop all 6 images (3 English and 3 French versions).

Before we started the project we have tested several methods for creating the slides in CG.

As the layouts had to be carefully designed, while we were testing the water slide structure and how legible text is once built from it. All 6 layouts have been drafted up in concept stage to sign off the curves and connection points within the slide.  This proved to be the most trickiest part, which was good to agree quite early on.

We could place the virtual camera anywhere without having to move an entire crew around, find the best lens and use our GPS calibrated sun system to select the best time of day
